Welcome

Juniata Dance Ensemble was established in 1997, however, it has recently flourised in several aspects. The team is made up of 60+ students of all levels of experience and styles of dance. We practice Monday through Thursday and we have weekly Sunday meetings. We perform at many events during the school year, but our main event is our annual show. Juniata College has over ninety Registered Student Organizations and the Dance Ensemble is one of the most active on campus. Since the Dance Ensemble is a student run organization, it is entirely led by an elected Board of Officers and choreographers. We have several committees that offer members an opportunity to become involved in making this team strong and outstanding.

Currently Joan Engle is the advisor of our team. We do not have annual dues and we receive funding from the Student Government. The Dance Ensemble is an open club which does not require full committment. However, we do offer special programs that require full committment. Members may be in as many show dances as they would like as long as they can fulfill each choreographer's requirements. Members are encouraged to participate in community performances and the final show.

Our team is truly unique because every member has responsibilities that they must fulfill in order to maintain our organization's amazing reputation. We have several campus-wide performances throughout the academic year. Each of our dancers contributes something new to the level of talent our club continues to maintain year after year.
